Using a Virtual Receptionist With Your Employees in the Field Most of the Day

A virtual receptionist can work with any type of company. A landscape design firm recently contacted us because they were missing phone calls. The staff is rarely in the office and the phone gets missed quite a bit. What were they to do?
This is often the case with small businesses; the owner has to answer each phone call (he is the boss) or delegate the person to answer it. Often the owner is the best sales person in the company but how can you expand business? Many times the last person to leave the office needs to forward the phone to someone, but to whom? What is the staff is out all day Friday and doesn't get to voicemails until Monday morning? That is an eternity to a customer so is looking for some type of services. There is a better way to manage an office which is with a virtual receptionist service.

This type of service will make sure the calls get sent to the correct person inside the company. Call screening is one of the most important features to look for in a real receptionist company. Many of them are just automated and don't actually have a live person in the mix, buyer beware! Another nice feature is to setup the phones as roll-over, and then you don't even have to worry about forwarding the phones when someone leaves. If you are working on a large project and don't want to be interrupted, put the phone on do not disturb and concentrate. You can let the service know not to call you, and its peace and quiet for you.

Many times the people in the field only have personal cell phones and not a business owned line. Why would they want to give out their number to a bunch of business clients? If they leave the company, they will still be getting phone calls. A virtual receptionist service can fix that by answering the main line and connecting callers to the personal cell phones of employees out in the field. They only have to give out the main number and with call screening choose which calls to accept. It's a win for the employees and the clients because the phone is always answered by a live professional person and connected to someone who can help them.

Make sure the service you are looking into actually answers the phone properly, and they can do live phone transfers. Many of the services in existence won't announce callers they just do a blind transfer. That's not very helpful!

Your Local Virtual Receptionist Service
We answer phone calls when you can't.

What is a Virtual Receptionist? This is a receptionist that works for you from a location outside of your office. They are also known by "Live Receptionists" or "Remote Receptionists". We utilize an advanced phone system that lets us track who is calling in, and who they are calling for so we can provide a customized experience to each of our clients.

We are more than just an answering service, we actually know who your clients are and know who the people in the company are.
